Community BBQ For A Cause
Last month I shared a story of one of our students in the Middle East, Mariam, and the opportunity that she received through your gifts to continue her education. At the time, I was on the way to Turkey to work with a local pastor and connect with refugee families there to see how we can help other students like her.
From the Istanbul airport, we picked up a rental car and drove two hours arriving in Sakarya, Turkey where we visited refugee families. The next day, we drove to Bursa, a city two hours away, and visited more families. The homes were pAs we have shared in our past emails, our field outreaches make life transformation possible for the marginalized. We invite you to join us for a Community BBQ for a Cause on August 12th from 12:00-3:30PM. Join us as we celebrate community and work towards transforming lives by raising $10,000 to fund our international field outreaches to India, the Middle East and the Philippines!
