I might not have had a chance to excape poverty...

I want to share Rosemary (Rose) Martinez's story below with you. She is our 7th-grade scholar who lives in the slums of San Vicente, Quezon City, where we do a weekly kids program.

In the interview below, Rose's mom expresses her gratitude for the opportunity that her daughter has been given to study at People of Grace Christian School as a full scholar. Unlike other schools where Rose could have fallen into the wrong crowds, she is able to grow and learn in a positive Christian environment.

Rose's access to good education gives her mom hope that Rose can help look after her siblings' needs in the future. Because of monthly scholarship donors, Rose's mom doesn’t have to worry about tuition fees, uniforms, or other school expenses.

The future is bleak and seemingly hopeless for so many, but educational opportunities for young people like Rose can give them a way out of their depressed state and give them hope for a better future.

Would you become a monthly partner to help other young ones find a purpose for living?

A monthly donation of any amount can help them receive the education needed to break the cycle of poverty. If you would like to be a monthly partner, you can reply to this email or you can set up your monthly giving directly online by clicking on the button below.
